Educational Background
After graduating from The University of North Texas with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies, I worked in the field of education for over four years. Throughout this time, I gained experience serving adolescents and groups. I received a M.S. in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from The University of North Texas, obtaining experience in counseling children, adolescents, adults, families, couples and groups. I started seeing clients at Frisco Counseling and Wellness in 2015, and offer counseling services to a broad range of populations, including groups. Becoming a counselor was something I have dreamed about since I was young. I spent my time at the library (I still do!) reading books about mood disorders, mindfulness and how to cope with the tough stuff.
