After graduating from The University of North Texas with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies, I worked in the field of education for over four years. Throughout this time, I gained experience serving adolescents and groups.
I received a M.S. in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from The University of North Texas, obtaining experience in counseling children, adolescents, adults, families, couples and groups. Life is full of challenges and there are many factors that may affect our daily satisfaction. My passion is to assist my clients in finding that inner strength and empowerment to live a healthier, happier and more fulfilled life.
Becoming a counselor was something I have dreamed about since I was young. I spent my time at the library (I still do!) reading books about mood disorders, mindfulness and how to cope with the tough stuff. I have always loved working with and helping others, and truly enjoy what I do.
